Name Plate

This name plate was made on a whim for a graduation gift for my sister. I just so happened that my father in law handed me several pieces of cherry that he made a table out of when he was in high school (40 years ago) about 1 week before the graduation. I figured I would use a small amount to get a feel for the cherry wood (since I had not worked with it before) and give my sister something nice for her graduation. This was also an excuse to use the router table for the first time. I finished it with Waterlox glossy.
