I bought this jointer from a fellow SEMIWW member. Based on catalog reprints at http://www.OWWM.com it is a mid-50’s vintage. Other than cleaning up and shortening up the stand which was made to hold multiple tools, it was ready to use. I added the dust chute to the bottom and plan to add a belt guard. It came with a unique fence extension for really wide boards which isn’t shown in the pictures.
The original motor was a double shaft motor and the second shaft stuck out too much, so I swapped it with a newer Baldor motor I had been using for buffing and wire wheel use. The double shaft motor will be my new buffing/wire wheel motor.
